Three greenhouses under a window: near Rostov increase production of vegetables for the winter

In the Rostov region it is planned to construct a hothouse complex on 200 hectares to close need of the region for winter vegetables and fruit. The federal news agency sent a request in the Ministry of Agriculture and the food of the Rostov region to find out details: how many greenhouses as a result will be constructed, what vegetables and in what volumes will be landed, and how many new workplaces will appear in the region.

It is known that the option with construction of the huge greenhouse where will grow up all types of vegetables and fruit now is considered. Such project in Russia still is not present. The regional authorities already promised to help with connection of gas and the electric power. 

The hothouse combine "Donskoy" in Oktyabrsky district will occupy the area of 40 hectares and will make 30 thousand tons of vegetable production a year. The total amount of investments into the project makes 8,3 billion rubles. As told the FAN in the press service of combine, project works already come to the end and the financial model is developed. 

Here work on search of a point of connection to power supply networks directly on a platform of construction of hothouse combine with a general power of 20 MW is conducted.
