A foreign investor showed interest in the project for the construction of a high-tech Russian-Japanese medical center in Rostov-on-Don.

The signing ceremony was held on November 22 in Rostov-on-Don. The interest of the Rostov region and the Siskan company in cooperation in the field of Russian medicine is expressed in an exchange letter.

Siskan is one of the most respected Japanese companies specializing in the construction and organization of medical centers abroad.

The leaders of the Japanese company during the current visit looked at several land plots from which the territory for the construction of the center can be selected.

The Rostov region is interested in attracting effective investors, said the Don Governor.

«We are ready to create certain conditions for such a project to be implemented as soon as possible and with the highest quality,» — emphasized Vasily Golubev.

Now the Don region is actively preparing for the development of Russian-Japanese cooperation at the regional level. One of the first concrete steps in this direction was the negotiations on the construction of a modern international medical center in Rostov-on-Don, which is planned to be implemented in partnership with Siskan.

A visit to the Rostov region by a representative Japanese business mission led by one of the influential politicians of the Land of the Rising Sun is expected at the beginning of next year.

Days of the Rostov region in Japan, during which it is planned to establish relations in the fields of business, science and education, sports, culture, tourism, are planned to be held in 2020.

According to the agreement of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin and the Prime Minister of Japan S.Abe, 2020-2021 will be the years of regional cooperation between Russia and Japan.
